I am thinking about getting my driveway resurfaced and wanted to check what a reasonable price is.
I got a quote for about $3,700 which is for,
i) Grinding old paint off
ii) Patching up spots and cracks
iii) prime paint and seal (in total about 6 coats)
That quote is for those spray on concrete as opposed to the colour sealers. Any thoughts on which is better bang for buck? (The colored seal is about $2,600 for preliminary quote).

Edit: Also anyone have experience DIY? Of course wont be as good but if its possible I actually have some time at the moment.

I wanted an electric gate. got some quotes that were from $4,900 to $6,500.
Did it myself (with major help from my brother-in-law plumber). bought material, steel (for gate frame), concrete, electric gate gear (ebay $200). also bought a welder ($80 bunnings).
total cost - $1000.
satisfaction of doing it myself (with help) - awesome
