  • I don't know how I feel about this, i ordered a total of 4 for $8.99, we'll see what happens when it comes. I mean, I'm just buying super cheap giveaway gifts for Christmas, mainly for newphews and nieces, but I suppose I could use this for distant relatives too. I just hope they're not super utter crap when they arrive, so we'll have to wait and see then. Worst case scenario, well it was just 9 bucks. Best case, knock 4 people off the Christmas list for $2.25 per person. :D

    New slogan,
Ozbargain: Bringing out the cheapskate in you come Christmas time.

nov - I realise you are new here - but this is a bargain site - we share bargains and help each other - your post is very much like a rep for 1saleaday - FREE FREE FREE!! The reality is its NOT free, there are postage costs. So be a good sport include these in your post. I have done that for you this time.

If you are a rep, then declare this - there is nothing wrong with being one, but if you dont declare being a rep you run the risk of being banned and having the site you represent also being banned

unfortunately nothing is free in this world.
even spending time to get the free thing ends up not being free.

      • "even spending time to get the free thing ends up not being free."

There goes OzBargain Quote of the Day.. Brilliant!!

    • Thank you for your help.
This is my first time and I was learning how to arrange the post.
I am not a rep for this site. Just wonted to share the experience.
Ever since I have learned about a few OZ based bargain sites and by just briefly checking late at night or at the weekends and picking up what is left I can report savings of more than $2500. It has been little bit longer than a month now and I have spent on purchases not more than $400. This are really useful and good quality items.
Of course the savings are relative ones based on the comparison with the prices from the bargain sites and all the rest of the internet shopping sites.
Even if we drive to collect the free items we will spend money on petrol and not all of the freebies are on a drivable distance to do so. I would presume the postage should not be counted against the qualification of a freebie unless there is a hidden added cost which is not the case in this instance. These are two different events - to purchase something and to have it delivered so you can use it. Of course postal services in Australia are not free. Or any of the delivery services even the self delivery ones. For example try to shop in the newly opened for the public DFO at the Melbourne City. Just check the prices to park your car there. And this is not a postal service either.
Of course the best saving of all is when we never spend money to buy anything at all (as my wife would say to me). This is FREE.
But hey, we are bargain hunters here!
      So let's go hunting bargains!

why does it still say 1saleaday is down for maintenance for me?

    • it still says maintenance for many days. not a couple of days.

  • 【1 Sale a Day will be offline for a couple of days due to a site upgrade and general routine maintenance】

    …o(︶︿︶)o

Why R U still want to submit the deal?

    • I think this is a TPG issue. Can anyone on TPG see the watch page?

      • yeah I can see the deal and i'm with TPG

        • There goes that theory …. I;m with TPG and I can only see the maintenance page!

          • @ash2000: I am with TPG and also can not see deals recently.
            maybe a TPG victoria problem?

any 1 day sale rep want to check that our… maybe be missing many customers.

            • @Gambo: OK…have conirmed that it is an issue unique to TPG. Impacts most users who viewed the "maintainance page" last week.

It is solved by clearing your cache.

  • It works fine for me. I just ordered one, hope its not too bad. If it is then o well its only $5. :P

  • damn,.. too late sold out

    • There is still 1 pack left as I type this get it quick!

  • Ordered 5 pairs last night for Christmas presents :D

  • the deal gone

  • Hey guys,

If you still can't see the site try clearing your cache (doesn't always work though). We're seeing most TPG customers getting the site back slowly.

@ ozpete - nov is not a rep and has no association with the site as far as I'm aware.

  • rename title to "Sold out".

  • think about it though, it looks OK in the photo but seriously for the price the quality of them will be shit and you would be embarrassed to give them as gifts

  • For those who can't open the site, go to google and search it. It worked for me and I bookmarked the new one.
