If you've purchased the Civ V Complete pack (e.g. from the Mac Store) then likely one of the few items of DLC missing is the "Sid Meier's Civilization V: Scrambled Continents Map Pack". Currently it's on special for only US$2 which is matching a previous historic low.

I've been watching out for this particular DLC and figured I should share the good news for others, who like myself, require this one small item to complete their Steam collection. Snuffle it now as the time between specials can be lengthy :)

      I know what you mean, I got part way through Beyond Earth and realised it was basically a badly done Civ V mod pack, was so disappointed. Sometimes it feels like the big names are cashing in there prestige for a few extra bucks (looking at you ESO).

    Complete edition is a great deal if you don't have most of the DLC's.
    However, it is not the cheapest price ever:

      One of my all time favourites, certainly one of my most played. Unfortunately with this series becoming so heavily reliant on Steam I don't play much any-more. I move around a great deal for work, often to very remote locations with little or no internet, and regardless of what Valve preaches the Steam UI is not "travel friendly" - in fact it seems to have become worse.
