    Ts & Cs kinda kill the deal, the best value is to be had building your own rings etc, still a great website and great prices.

      I would probably think that there are better places to build your own rings, as Blue Nile sells diamonds as a commodity, instead of better retailers like James Allen, Brian Gavin, and Whiteflash which will give you better advice, and videos of the actual rock.

        A video of the rock is nice, but unless you know what you are looking at its just a rock. Provided the reports of the diamonds are accurate and the ones ive purchased in the past have been, and you know how to read them I find it is enough to justift the savings. The retailers you listed are indeed better for service and the overall experience, but you pay for it.

          I would agree, but if you're purchasing an S1/S2 diamond for better value you want to make sure that the diamond is eye clean, and other parameters are acceptable, plus if you're splashing a big sum on a rock I think some self-education is warranted.
