I was looking at booking a Sheraton stay, but closed the window before proceeding with the booking.
I received an email inviting me to complete my booking - and there was this offer in the email.

    Be careful with this offer.

    Checked a place and it came back with $428/night through this offer. Then added the regular, public options, and a 30 day advance purchase came back at $389/night.

      Same thing happened when I was looking. approx $20-$30 cheaper without the code
