these guys are good!! really good!

This is not a normal drive through car wash!!

I washed with them last week.. the manager/attendant was onsite to do a pre-wash check - wash off any excess dirt, bird poo.. spray off excess break dust.. he also took off my antenna before going through the wash (so it doesn't get damaged) and put it back on after..

and they inspect the car at the other end to ensure the car is washed. if not, they will send it through again..

like i said.. no ordinary car wash.. very happy.. going back again! even their normal prices are cheap!

        Can vouch for their service!
I came in a few months ago for the automatic carwash, and there were two awesome workers that cleaned my tyres, bird poo and large dirt stains before entering the auto-wash, free of charge.
They were very friendly and recommended I go for the 10 dollar wash. I only brought 8 with me (intended to go for the standard wash) so naturally I declined, but the worker kindly spotted the other 2 dollars without hesitation.
Will definitely be back again, with or without this voucher!

  • My car is in the thumbnail and my actual car is very dirty. It's a sign :')

  • How do I get the voucher? I clicked on "Grab Now" but nothing happens…

      try different internet browser

      • Thanks! Firefox didn't work but Chrome did.

  • Thanks Rep,

I just picked up 2 (max 2 per customer) for myself and my sister. Hopefully the service is as good as @dp2014 suggests, if it is, you'll definitely see me more often.

    • Where did you get the print to say "Max 2 per customer"?

      The condition on website:
      Conditions
Voucher is redeemable between 10am to 5pm 7 days a week. See attendant on site.
Limit of 1 voucher per customer
      - See more at: http://www.discounton.com.au/deal/3625.html#sthash.DELVl6M0.…

      • oh well i went onto the site, typed in 3, and it said max 2 per person in bright red. so i got 2. Instantly received a confirmation email with 2 attachments with different barcodes

  • I grabbed a voucher from the last deal. I've had one wash and will go back for another. Great service!

  • same here..cannot download the coupon…i also clicked on grab now….maybe my hands are too small to grab anything

Recommended!!! I washed my car and my little dog with them from the last promotion. My car turn out quite nice & clean.

    • do you know what do they use to wash it? even though it says new technology and doesn't scratch, I'm still not so sure.
what was your result? more scratches or still the same?

      • They use water and those spinny microfibers. I don't notice more scratches. The only complaint was the wash is stationary, so only 1 car can go at 1 time so you may have to wait for quite some time if you see other people there.

    • +7

I'm guessing it didn't go too well for the dog…

No car wash scratches anymore. And hasn't for decades. They would be sued into oblivion.

By all means sell your product, but don't assume everyone is a total idiot. You may aswell state customers can also watch amazing 240 Volt, Colour TV's whilst they wait.

What? Are you serious? All those cheap carwash places scratch your car. Not the big scratches that you are thinking off. The spider web scratches that dull the paint. That's why you use the two bucket method to was you car.

      Should've gone to specsavers….

Any claim a car wash with brushes won't scratch is bogus. Dirt and debris gets stucked to the brushes and transfers from car to car.

Car washes have their place but it is for convinence only. As mentioned the 2 or 3 bucket system is the one of the most preferred way to reduce scratches. Scratches will still occur. Their is a risk anytime something touches paint but with proper technique any damage is minimised

      • I'd be interested in reading the evidence for your claims dy4me and 4agte. Here's a possibly biased alternative view: http://www.thecarwash1.com/handwashing-harmful-cars-finish-u…

My guess is that the result is dependent upon the quality of the auto wash facility and the care and knowledge of the handwasher. Without first removing most of the dirt with a high pressure hose setup, a sponge and bucket wash is guaranteed to produce micro scratches. Even polishing can produce microscratches.

        • Jump on any active detailing forum for more information - autogeek, detailing world, detailing paradise. If you prefer watching videos AMMO NYC has some great tips anyone can benefit from.

You are right even polish can produce micro scratching. That is why there is different grades of polishing. Any decent detailer uses a halogen light to check their work as they correct to ensure those micro scratches are gone.

Think about what happens when you wash your car with a sponge. Eeek! Please don't use a sponge unless it is a dedicated car sea sponge. The dirt gets trapped between the sponge and the paint. The dirt has no where to escape and is dragged along the paint.

Switch to a something better for washing car like microfibre or lambswool mitt. Instead of the dirt getting trapped between the clearcoat and mitt, it is pushed up into the mitt.

Now what to you think will happen to that dirt when the brushes no matter what they are made off hit you paint and spin at speed? No thanks, not my car.

Clearcoat is finite on a car. Use a compound on a car and each time you are thinning your clearcoat. If you ever need to have a car compounded more than once you really need to work out what you are doing to cause those scratches. Polishes are far less aggressive and could probably do it as often as you like. But 1-2 a year will be enough if you correctly wash your car and protect it with a wax or sealant.

Now I'm not saying everyone should was their on car. Some people have no interest or time. It is good to see at least this place pre rinses. This reduces the risk of scratch but will still occur

I hate typing on my phone so please excuse any errors I may have made. However if any Adelaide members are interested in doing they own car and don't know where to start I can help you with some products

I went there a few days ago. I had the voucher from the last time this deal was on. I ended up only getting a standard wash and not the full wax etc (which I was entitled to.) Apparently the machine was broken, but I reckon the attendant only said that because I wasn't paying anything. He clearly programmed something before I went in the car wash so that I only got the standard wash. Wouldn't you tell me beforehand that the machine was broken and not after I got a received a standard wash?

Hi KP2015, We had a program glitch Thurs/Fri last week which meant the wrong wash was activated. We are so sorry. The issue was fixed Friday night. If you email me directly I can send you another Free ultimate wash. [email protected]

    Hi Everyone,

I need to let everyone know that the Power Company advised me today that they are doing maintenance and as a result the Power to the Car Wash will be turned off between 7.30am to 3.30 this Sunday the 1st Feb 2015. We will be unable to operate. Really sorry about the inconvenience.

For those intending to come down on Sunday, I hope this reaches you in time. Please do not come down as we will be closed.

    Apologises

  • Took my car here after a friend recommended the place. I ended up with a car full of swirls (cost me $500 to fix the damage caused). If you're not fussed about swirls in your paint, then by all means bring your car here, but if you have a new car or are the type to look after it, then definitely don't come here (or any other similar type of car wash)

  • I can't find the email. what email address would it have come from?
    thanks.
