How is that a bargain when the original price is way more than most other fruit shops.

    • Is this for woolworths online?? Then I guess you'd be comparing this to those fruit shops that deliver?

users may not wish to shop at markets where fruit is at a lower quality, distance from center, chance of being cheated or shortchanged.

I wouldn't trust any personal shopper to pick $40 worth of fresh fruit and vegetables. For that much money I want to choose my own instore. $40 target is way too high anyway and I agree that the prices might be affected by the online shopping surcharge.

She was most likely trying to scam Woolworths. How does a whole mouse get neatly placed inside a sushi roll?

  • aldi have the cheapest supermarket veggies.. otherwise hit the market.

    • The only thing about aldi fruit and vegetables is they are wrapped under glad wrap or in boxes and the quality I've found is often terrible.

If u can't touch or smell the goods, don't buy it. As an example, I bought a beautiful looking box of cherries from them and couldn't touch, to realise they are soft as tofu. Never again aldi.

      • yeh its the trade off for cheap prices for fruit. Vegies r pretty good quality. obviously u should check them before putting it in your back. Ill buy red capsicum from aldi and never had to throw any away.. always last 1-2 weeks in the fridge @ $4 a kilo.. coles and safeway can go F themselves charging 8-9$ a kilo

      • Aldi's Spuds, onions, lemon, tomatos, capsicum, cucumber, brocoli, zukini, mushroom etc are always market quality. If you took those cherries back to aldi you woulda got a full refund no questions asked. I hope you took them back.

Fruit at Woolworths is normally 50% more expensive than the markets unless it's on special
