Had one of these. Doesn't get loud enough. Controls on the unit are pretty handy and replaceable batteries is good too.
Ended up returning and getting the logitechs instead. Much better sound, worth that extra $50 (if u can get it at a good sale price)
But it's such a pretty handbag!
Agree it's not that loud… but decent enough at this price if you don't need big volume.
Great speaker (at this price). Fiance uses it almost every day streaming music from phone, while cooking or in the shower.
Have only charged it about 3 times - lasts ages with Eneloops.

she must have cook or shower not very often then, because I charge mine about once a month and only using this for like less than 4 hours a week and no bluetooth.
or, you know… you could plug it into a wall socket like I do.

NFC for quick easy connection with phone/music player, then stream via bluetooth. Makes pairing a zap.
NFC is like that WPS (sync) function most routers have, hit the button and wireless devices connect without requiring passwords (etc).
NFC is similar, put ur phone near it and the 2 items sync over Blutooth without needing to be an expert in digital cryptology.

I have this speaker - great unit, but note it doesn't have a rechargeable battery, or the ability to recharge the AAs it uses. But if you have some eneloops and a charger, it's a cracker.
Gets loud enough for use indoors, at a small picnic, that type of thing. And batteries last forever in it.
If only someone would do a deal on eneloops one day…
Lack of rechargable battery means it doesn't die in a couple of years and get thrown away because it's too much of a pain to pull apart and find replacement batteries. Give me AA any time! However, the fact that it's not loud, isn't the best quality and looks like a handbag means it's a no go for me. Try a mini-boom or better if you don't need the battery life or smaller size a logitech x-300 (unfortunately neither use AA)
I wish 18650's would just become the standard battery.

this speaker is fantastic for what it is. 2x 2w pumps louder than you think, and for a gathering full volume is a little unsociable.
removable batteries rather than inbuilt is a HUGE plus from me especially when you go camping, and it comes with an AC plug for the wall if you dont need portability.
and last weekend i found this little beauty will survive a 10 second swim in the pool, after opening the case and leaving it dry in the sun for 2hrs works like new haha.
Agree its a great little speaker and you can use your Eneloops in it :)
