Converting a 2.5mm Panasonic Female Audio Jack to a Standard 3.5 Mm Female Port for Cordless Phones

HI All,
I wanted to use the standard wireless headsets that we use with Mobiles with my Panasonic Cordless Handset.
I have a Panasonic KX-TGA431AL Cordless Phone which has a non standard 2.5 mm Headset hole.

Can anyone advise if you have used an ebay / Off the shelf adaptor to use your standard mobile / wired headsets on cordless phones.

It should be fine. Most 2.5mm jacks have 3 conductors but 3.5mm have 4 conductors.

  Thanks @Trex, I'm only concerned because read on whirlpool about only earphones working and Mike not working on some adaptors,

    I think the issue that you read about is because of the differing number of steps/conductors, not because of length of the steps, and potentially flipped functions.
    
    Each step/conductor has a function:-
    
    3.5mm:-
