I had this watch, or one very much like it, a decade or more ago and it did not last. The band broke and buttons fell off after a couple of years or so.

Nice enough watch though.

Now I only buy full stainless steel watches like the Casio Edifice line

  This is a watch designed for exercise, hence the rubber strap. Have fun going for a jog with a stainless steel watch

I have had two of these, the first lasted 9 months and was replaced under warranty, the replacement lasted 4 more years. Its a good watch for the price.
