How to hide expired deals when in a category?

I know how to hide expired in Popular Deals, but I can't hide expired deals when browsing in a category. Can someone tell me how to?

Not possible yet. So have to train your eyes to skip over those expired deals on the category pages.

      If it is such an issue then my best solution would be to install the 'stylish' plugin for chrome or firefox and create a new style with ".node.node-ozbdeal.expired {display:none}" in it.
      
      Maybe Scotty can provide a better class to target if it's allowed but that seemed to work fine for me anyway.

Do other people find it annoying too or is it just me?

It is incredibly annoying, there must be a simpler way to do it than installing addons for browsers
