Went to redeem my scoopon and the guy said they also have a BOGOF deal
(they had a sign but it wasnt in english)
(confirmed on their facebook page)

Their regular price is $7 anyway, the scoopon deal just gives free fries and drink

i think the BOGOF is better value but scoopon is better i fyou want a drink obviously
The fries are really crispy cause they use the same batter, but chicken is still better value

Forgot the expiry but it was until early March

I find the chicken to be the flat crispy type batter (tempura style) so you feel like less of a heart attack unlike hot star

Both are different and have merits

3Q also marinade their chicken in a red sweet sauce. After its cooked you get a 5 spice aroma + sweet savoury flavour. I liked it.
Whereas Hot star is just 5 spice with bland chicken

Reccomend a try

I drove the entire bus and office insane with the delicious smell

This beats the $10 kfc nuggets deal

        yeh but the last time i wanted to buy a piece of fried chicken from one of those asian shops (think it was HOTSTAR) in Sydney it was around $7 and I was literally like "F**K DAT"

          yeah but this is two massive fillet pieces (the juicy tender bits) with just a partial bone at the end that doesnt get in the way

          Tastes better than woolies or KFC chicken

          The woolies whole chicken may be bigger, but tastes like cardboard

          i end up throwing alot of the dry breast away anyway

          Obviously haven't bought a good one, woolworths chooks are some of the juiciest I've found.

          Maybe try one that isn't reduced at the end of the night?

    yeh i agree the chicken taste a whole lot better then hotstar… i would definitively go for this over the kfc $10 nugget deal

    I got a scoopon deal for this recently since I love fried chicken. It was ok, but it's not to my taste. They put alot of sugar in the batter, so it actually tastes more sweet than savoury. Kinda weird. I'll stick to KFC.

    Love this place. Better than hotstar imo. Burping up flavour 4 hours after eating chicken.
