I need a dryer for occasional use during rainy weather & reviews are good considering its price so I bought one.

As last deal was $199 delivered from Deals Direct https://www.ozbargain.com.au/node/181499
I think its worth posting as a separate deal.

Don't forget cashrewards to save 2%

    So a dupe then?

    • +1

I think s/he's just crediting the 20% off code and the comment that mentioned the Mistral 4kg Tumble Dryer. (Which according to the guideline, is not a dupe.)

  • considered large, not included in free shipping.

      Price includes $15 for shipping!

      • ur right, please ignore my previous comment

  • It's $154.95 after cash back. Cash back is awarded on the non-GST component of the original sale price (before coupon is added).

    $179/1.1 ≈ $162.73 (GST component)
    2% of $162.73 ≈ $3.25
    $158.20 - $3.25 = $154.95

  • Doesn't post to Regional QLD (FYI) - was going to suggest it to my daughter but we live in regional QLD but good deal ;)

  • Would this be more or less efficient then a 20-30 year old dryer?

    • Would this be more or less efficient then a 20-30 year old dryer?

      Equally efficient.

But this will probably be smaller.

      • It's tiny..
        smaller than a bar fridge.

      • Oh your right, this is actually a very small dryer… didn't even notice.

  • bought! thanks for pointing this out OP… you gotta love stacked discounts!

  • Bought Two!

    thanks

  • Should I get one of these or get one that has a sensor for drying ?

    • any link? with this deal?

      • nah I meant get this Mistral one or one that has a sensor but more $$

        Is Mistral a good brand?

        • Generally no, but the reviews seem good and the price is right.

Get one with a sensor. How else can you know how long to set the (manual) timer for on this piece of junk?

Feel a bit regretful, bought one but not sure why.

    • You can return it free of charge to a Target store for change of mind. I guess you won't get the postage cost back, but you should get the full amount of the product on the invoice ($179) so you'll actually profit.

    Anymore coming in?

  • That sold fast. I think OZB has something to do with it, good bargain for sure!

    thanks OZB community!

    • Fingers crossed they get more in I went to get one checked out via paypal then it sold out

  • Now $179.

    • +1

That's the price before the discount coupon is applied.

Thanks OP & geek001. I bought one. I never used to use a dryer, but my housemate has one and I became very much used to it last winter. She is moving out this weekend, so this will do as a simple replacement.

  • had it on buy it now, was contemplating it, then got distracted, 1 hour later ozbargain made the decision for me, and i'm going home empty handed :(

  • I know it has sold out but, out of interest, does it come with a vent kit?

We could use a new unit. 1.5 star rating not that great, but most dryers are not energy efficient so this isn't a suprise!

    availabe now

    • Its still out of stock

      • Now Available

        • Nope

        • @Twisty:
Well 11 hours 57 minutes ago I was able to buy it now for $179

        • @scubacoles:

For real I've been checking a lot and it's always been sold out

        • @scubacoles:

It sold out the other day with 32 sales, its still 32 sales so ….

        • @Twisty:
Can't comment, I didn't buy in the end..
But I was in the click to confirm screen. Then asked my wife if it was what she wanted and she said she wanted to see it first hand.

        • @scubacoles:

ok, no idea how it sold out when it hasn't sold since, I think Target is messing with me again hahaha

  • So is this meant to sound like it has rocks in it / parts inside are rattling around when in use? It sounds fine when empty, but terrible when clothes are in it. Should I return it, or is that normal?
