  • Why don't you buy a weighted belt instead and use a strong rope like a para-chord to loop the weight around the belt?

    or buy some big chains and put it around your back.

    How much weight are you planning to do?

  • Try

    http://www.australianbarbellco.com/
    http://www.hartsport.com.au/ $33.50 + postage unless you live in Brisbane
    eBay have seeen $40 + postage

    The suggestion to use chains is also v good - a few 1 metre chains and shackles arent expensive (from your local hardware store) and you can add another 12 kgs around your neck/waist easily.

  • eBay second hand - got one for $10 incl post :)

  • @Hustle I don't have a lifting belt not doing heavy enough to need one yet, however very good idea thought. Was planning to do about 40kg with the belt nothing heavy, but I still want stability.

    @A2 Awesome site might get a few items if the shipping is good.

    @Gobbo nice bargain

    • Based on that I suggest you buy an Olympic lifting belt because you can still use it for lifting weight and dipping belt. 2 for 1. It works just as well as the dipping belt. Can probably get one for $30-$40 at retail sports store and will last a lifetime.

      Also throw some big chains across your shoulders to look more hardcore while doing dips. The advantage with this is you can reduce the weight during the set.

      What do you mean stability? The chains will stay on your body at all time. I was thinking about buying chains too. Might post some photos later to show what I mean.

  • Cool Hustle, I'm gonna get a belt than! Yeah definitely post photos.

    You heard of Rampage Jackson? He sports a mean chain lol
