    i am looking at a 16GB Wifi only Model.. iPad Air is 499 and Mini 2 is 369… so basically what the best or lowest that I can get for these models.. looking to buy before 3-4 March

          Probably student discount.

          Just checked, it's $345.00 + they give you a $25 Apple Store Gift Card.

          @AznMitch: Exactly why.

          Make sure you sign up to JB/Dicksmith email deals they often have deals on especially at this time of year (Back to Uni) that match or are better than the Apple back to Uni deals.

          @knick007: Isn't it really easy to get student discount if you know someone who has edu.au email? I've heard that Apple doesn't even check that half the times, but I don't know about Apple store that well.

          Just don't go into the store, they ask your your ID..
          Get it before 19th March, you will get a $50 Apple gift card too!

          Oh btw, if you are too scared about the whole student discount thing, just do the quote online, show it to people from JB or DS and ask for a price match, you'd just miss out on the gift card that way.
