  • grrrr NOW they give it, I looked everywhere today for domestic flight discounts and couldn't find anything for this week. Don't ya hate that!

    • Yep, it's annoying when you see a bargain after you purchase something! You should just book something else!!

Nice post. Will see if I can find a flight that takes my fancy!

  • same here!
got my tickets a week ago..

  • i rushed and got mine with the 10% cashback. bloody hell. cant win these days……

It gets a +ive from me, cos it still is a good deal

  • Yay! saved me some money, was about to book some tickets

    • me as well. Looks like I am flying home for christmas.

  • booked mine weeks ago with virgin. shame about school holidays needing to book early etc

  • Warning: flight must be between 1st November to 24th December 2009. Was going to make a booking for my friend from Adel-Melb 25 Dec.

What's up with the $16.95 booking fee?

    • Are you sure? If you're taking it from the linked page then I think you'll find that's when the flight has to be booked, not taken.

  • That is a terrible booking fee, what a rort. Who would pay that much if they didnt use the 20% off promotion?

  • hate the booking fee$16.95!!!!

  • Booking fee is crap, erodes a lot of the savings. Do jetstar charge a credit card fee? maybe this is what it covers as well as a bit more

    • $3 each way.

  • Jetstar charges about 2$ per flight i believe even if its more, i know its nowhere near 17$!!!!!

    • Jetstar charge $3 per person per flight. So if you have a family of three or more booking a return flight, the $16.95 works out cheaper. But I agree that it's annoying if there's only one or two of you.

      • Worked out great for me then.

I booked flights for 3 people, total $600. 20% of that is $120 savings. Booking fee was $16.95 but would of cost $18 if i booked through jetstar via CC. Win!

  • good timing, got flights from Melbourne to Perth for UniGames, probably saved bout $100

  • $16.95 booking fee is a killer if you do a small trip!

  • great deal, booked return flights for me and my gf… should save around $120
