  • Looking at how long the microUSB connector is, I wonder if there may be difficulties connecting it to some phones with the case on.

    • Those old-school shitty plastic caps won't take long to go missing either.

I bought a 32gb model on ebay and have been using for about 3months. It's really handy to transfer files between mobile, pc and set top box that supports usb play.

I just bought the patriot stellar boost xt from MSY, $38 for 64gb, usb 3.0. They had an offer last month I think for the 32gb one but I miss it.

    • @ mranwa
      Thanks for the tip.
Which 1 is the best buy this or OP listing?
      What difference in specs?

      Thanks OP

        usb 3.0 vs usb 2.0

  • Curious as when they are going to make micro usb 3 flash drives

    • That patriot stellar boost xt is USB3 (on the standard USB end)… in regards to USB3 for micro… I imagine they will all just go to USB3.1 Type-C as it's smaller, reversible and has lower costs (from what I understand).

      • From the design, it seems to mean any existing usb 3 devices with the current ugly plug be going at usb2 speeds?

It would be missing the required extra pins?

  • So are these just standard USB drives - don't need any software, android etc? The wording about plug and play is a bit ambiguous.

Cause it would be pretty great to ditch my USB OTG cable for my mp3 player.

if the USB OTG works without any extra effort, then this will work too.

      • Sweet, thanks!
