  • Anybody in Melbourne interested in sharing postage? Too expensive this time to expand sharing Aus wide..Lol

  • Can get a pretty good phone for those monies. And it will show time too.
…On a second thought, who you gonna call from under a 1000 feet?

    • True, i used to think that i dun need a watch.. now i wear a Citizen eco-drive watch everyday just to save me the trouble of whipping out the phone and press the power button. But for the watch above, just purely a splurge.. nothing more.

      • 300m and tritium vials is obviously overkill for everyone outside of a navy seal operator

for that kind of money i'd be after something with a more recognisable name

i was quite enamoured by Traser watches

I like the T100 Tritium, the Superluminova on the bezel, solid steel case plus automatic movement. Each to his/her own!

Deep Blue is a well established watch manufacturer. They are predominantly aimed at aquatic users. The Miyota 9015 is a tried and tested work horse movement. Tritium is sweet too. Good price for a decent automatic tritium watch. Pity about the postage, but Deep Blue are A LOT more expensive from agents here.

        • Tritium is great for telling the time in bed/cinema/camping/airplane, not just diving!

Who doesn't like a watch with a half life of ~10 years?

Nice find OP, shame the $AUD isn't higher against the USD but still a good deal.

Pretty much ticks all the boxes for a nice 'dress' diver. Also note that it has Sapphire Crystal. Great movement too- you'll find the 9015 in much more expensive watches than these.

Probably the only other similar watch I'd personally consider for around the same price is a Steinhart Ocean 1

I guess both could be called Rolex Sub homages- some will turn their nose up at them for that but doesn't bother me.
