I just posted the following on Whirlpool but it could be of some use here since the HP Stream 7/8 have been popular deals of late.
I bought the following OTG charger/usb 4 port hub from Aliexpress as it claimed you could charge and connect external devices at the same time…. it's fairly cheap so I bought one…. Great Success :)
I'm currently hooked up with a usb keyboard/mouse/memory stick and charging the Stream 7 at the same time!

sometimes when you plug it in it tells you it's plugged in and "not charging", unplug and connect again seems to fix it.
Now, all I need is a good way to get the TV hooked up so I can watch Netflix. Anybody have a guaranteed "tried and tested" USB to HDMI solution before I go on a spending spree? A Wireless solution would also suffice… any suggestions please?
