Got an email from JB, the new Hunger Games = Mockingjay part 1 is out today. Special pricing of 25 for bluray and 15 for dvd. Usually new blurays are up to 40 bucks (guardian of galaxy).
Plus they have a buy 2 get 1 free bluray. Both "The Hunger Games" and "The Hunger Games: Catching Fire" are part of that deal (30 in total). plus you get a FREE bluray of your choice.
I haven't seen it yet. I'm just trying to picture how they did Phillip Seymour Hoffman's character (cgi,etc).
I quite liked it, though it is very different to the other two.
They had filmed all of Mockingjay Part 1 and most of Part 2 before PSH died. I remember hearing an interview with the director saying they would rewrite scenes not yet filmed and have other characters say his lines.
I tried to find a reference but just came across articles saying they had one major emotional scene left to film with him in it, so maybe they will go the cgi path, I hope not.

This movie did suck compared to the first two. She did nothing the whole movie except pose.
I actually thought it was better than the first two, more realistic and not as stupid. Sorry, attack dogs appearing out of thin air? Controllable killer fog? I mean, helloooooo?!!!!!

I'd wait until next week I reckon there's a strong chance of a 20% off next weekend just going by past dates 15-16/3/14 and 16-17/3/13 were both 20% off weekends
This movie was a real pain.
