Planning to Buy a 3 Bedroom House in Noble Park Victoria for $380,000

Hi Friends, need some help here.

I am planning to buy a 3 BedroomHouse in Melbourne region for around $400,000. Found a house in Noble Park for $380,000.

I work in Malvern Vic so don't want travel accross city.

Just wondering that is it a good deal…. and is Noble park a good and safe place to live?

Or should I look for any other options.

Please Help.

Thanks

  • When I was in Melbourne till 2010, Noble Park was a good enough place. My Mrs lived there for 3+ years. Not sure how it is right now. If you rely on public transport, it will kill your time but it will get you to CBD and then change tram to Malvern.
West Gate traffic is a pain in the ass….you can bypass West Gate traffic but the alternate route is equally bad.

      noble park is near springvale…

so it's on the same train line with malvern.

maybe you're thinking about diff suburb ?

      • You are right :| Deer park…..not noble park… grrrr tells me I need to go visit Melbourne again :(

Here's a list of suburbs based on their livability link list is from 2011. Quite a few surprises on there. Personally I wouldn't live in Noble park.

You work in malvern. Why not buy a. 3 bedroom house in malvern for $380,000 and save the commute time?

(Jokes- I grew up in camberwell)

  • Noble Park was an awesome place to live in the 80s, when my mum bought a house there for $80,000. It's a different place now, but I don't know if it's good or bad. Most of my friends who still live in, or nearby it, aren't that happy with how it's changed. I live in a totally different area, but I'd have happily stayed there.
