With Motorola recently releasing a 4G variant of the Moto G 2nd Gen, am I best off waiting for a price drop before picking up the current 3G only model?
The microphone has turned to poo on my HTC m7 (which was a hand me down), and I'm not looking to spend big bucks on a replacement (otherwise I'd go a Nexus 5 or 6).
I bought the first gen Moto G for my wife only days before it ended up with a price drop due to the 2nd gen release, so am worried about getting caught out again.
Anyone have the inside scoop on whether there's likely to be a substantial (i.e. more than $40) price drop on the 3G 2nd gen anytime soon?
For the old stocks — maybe. However also beware that due to bad AUDUSD, many retailers are actually raising price.
