Cheap Dock / Phone Watch? Where?

Hi all, was wondering if you could help me. I'm looking for a few things at the moment and I'm struggling to slog through the information around:

1) Looking for a no fuss streaming solution to my TV from laptop, wireless. I need to be able to watch local content and need it to mirror my screen for gaming. Is there anything out there that can do that cheaply? Tried Chromecast, washout and doesn't mirror.

2) Casually looking for a 'Smart' watch, any really good prices or experiences you've had? I don't really want to spend anymore than about $50 at this stage as the worth just isn't there for me, so I'd be looking at Chinese-y websites.

3) Also looking for new Chinese buying websites in general, my girlfriend and I use Buy In Coins frequently, good service and no issues ever, of course you get what you pay for but statement still stands. Anyone got any recommendations for other good ones?

Also looking for a dock for my xperia but that's neither here nor there :P

    Dunno about number 1

    Q2:
Pebble is the best bet - it sells for $100 delivered and it is easily the best budget smartwatch that you can buy. There are a lot of crappy chinese knockoffs such as Tommy Weloop (which is apparently so-so and has a team of software developers comprised of monkeys on typewriters) and the silly Trakdot watch (which is absolutely sucky according to WP and no good according to Macworld.

My Pebble has withstood the test of time and numerous hard knocks (have owned it for 1.2 years now) and it still retains it's ability to last 6 days without charging. The developers continue to support it too — it will get a pretty big UI update soon.

    Q3
I was a big fan of BIC but after experiencing a couple of issues with them not wanting to deal with product returns or refunds I can no longer recommend BIC for purchases of higher priced electronics. For everything else they're still OK, but don't expect BIC to comply with warranties and such — it's their explicit policy to not accept faulty product returns. They will always advise the customer to seek a repair shop and will pay you a small amount as compensation. Buying from eBay would give you a better level of buyer's protection.

    • Thanks Scrim!
I've been having a look at the U8 Pro today and it seems reasonably well recieved. Had a look at the Pebble the other day and it doesn't seem to do the things I need it for tbh.
Also, I've never had a problem getting refunds for stuff through BIC but yes, agreed, would never buy big ticket items e.g. phones / tablets through them.

and need it to mirror my screen for gaming

You are going to have lag, there is no suitable solution yet.

You can use HDMI wireless kit, but you'll still have a lag
