Seems to be a decent price for a selfish stick with Bluetooth (so you don't need to use your smartphone's self-timer). Most on eBay are upwards of $20.

Aldi's was $14.95 and you had to go somewhere to get it

there may be a coupon floating around to get a discount.

I tried several but none worked 7off, AFF71, RMN6OFF

takes about 4 weeks for delivery. YMMV

  It's not just for selfies. Just think of all the losers using them for upskirts and toilet cubicles. They really need to be banned

        @c0balt: I love it when people think they are using a cogent argument by comparing apples to a flat tyre. You can't carry kitchen knives around in public but you can poke these things around recklessly in public. I wasn't actually serious about banning. I'm buying one for my son who is wheelchair bound and needs the extra length to take a good shot that includes people with him around his chair. Really useful. It was a poorly made joke.

  Why has this gotten such a bad rep? I can think of many legit uses that would simply not be possible without the stick with a GoPro specially. Just the other day I used one while riding with a friend and got some excellent footage in a POV that would otherwise be impossible, right next to the rear wheel and the peddles. Is it a case of a few ruining it for the rest of us?

    They only get a bad rep because the selfie phenomenon seems absurd to many of us (who are NOT photogenic). And because people are even more careless with them than umbrellas, recklessly invading other people's space (and some of us need large amounts of personal space). There are probably many worthwhile uses but what good is a bandwagon if you can't ride it?
