Free Pepsi Next @ Broadway Shopping Centre (NSW)

100

They're giving out free samples of these green Pepsi Next apparently, at ground floor near Coles. Don't think it will last long.

Edit: I stand corrected, they're still here today. Didn't realize people hate it THAT much ;p

They couldn't give away bottles of this stuff last year at Coles…

    It is awful…

it's my fave pepsi. next>max>pepsi>>>>>>coke zero

      • i'd rather just drink water thanks than pepsi next…

I think your list is backwards

        • The first batch of Next are the worst soda ever. Something's changed and it now tastes a lot better. I buy the ones in PET bottles. Can't vouch for the canned ones as I haven't seen them in WA.

They've been doing it for a few days. I agree with jv, its yuck. (I did get a fair few anyway, being an ozbargainer and all).

Is Pepsi now copying the colour of Coca Cola life now?

Coke life will be coming out to Australia soon.will give that a taste.

Next is good but not as good as MAX.

    • Had it, not that great. It tastes like a mix of diet/normal coke.

It's easy to work out - just check the best before date on the bottom of each can

  • They were doing samples during OWeek at uni. Worst tasting cola ever. Even worse than Coke and I hate that stuff.

    I just got some.

I seriously can't tell the difference between it and regular Pepsi.

But I also cannot tell the difference between regular Pepsi and Pepsi Max. Maybe I have no tastebuds

    • +4

If you have no tastebuds, you should try this drink called water :)

      • no - not that, anyway - I hear the authorities have been starting to dilute it with dihydrogen monoxide. No, I'm going to stick with the Pepsi!

    Yuk….NEXT!

  • 30% less sugar but still 28 grams of sugar in each can! No thanks. Next.

    • Natural sugars though is the main point :)

      • +1

No. they only replaced 30% of sugar with Stevia. The remaining 70% is still normal sugar and there is 28 grams of normal sugar in each can.

        • My bad, thanks for pointing that out. Have always thought they completely replaced sugar with stevia, which in turn had a lower sugar content making it 30% less - as this statement tricks us into thinking;
"Pepsi Next is a lower kilojoule/calorie cola drink sweetened naturally with stevia to deliver 30% less sugar"

  • They're still here today (18/3) btw if anyone still interested to prove whether it's actually that bad haha
