  • No price in title?

    • Sorry apologies for that. Fixed it now.

  • Price in title? Can't even find that price in that large wall of text.

  • -1

    too slow

  • Too much useless text. Most useful thing missing i.e. price ?

  • -2

$600! Try $520 shipped at shopping square.

    • +1

That is not Australian Stock with a 2 Year Samsung Warranty. That is a direct import and we can beat that price.

      • +1

read above line without the "not" ;0

    • +4

That's a grey import you're comparing there though.

  • AUD$599 on their website.

  • at $599 how is this a deal?

  • -5

No price has been specified, discount or any reason why this is a bargain. Blatant spam to get us to click their site. Would stay away from spammers, they are untrustworthy.

  • -6

Clearing stock for the s6? Prices will crash in a few months. No point buying it now.

  • +1

Looks a decent deal, cant see any other store online coming close to this..

Shipping - $10.45 to the Goldie.

Like em on FB for another 5 bucks off.

    • We do have a $5 coupon on the website available as well.

      • +1

Yeah, I noticed that, edited my previous post as you replied.

        • Oh sorry. Well the message is still the same :)

I've used Think.Of.Us before. Store is trustworthy. They used to make it clear whether it is Australian Stock or Grey Import and if they sell both, I believe they have it as two separate items. Not sure if it's still the case, but they are legit.

In saying that though, I remember some of their prices are higher than RRP when new or when its a hot commodity, so make sure you compare.

However, I believe Kogan has the Galaxy S5 for $499.00 - Understand it's grey import so not direct comparison.

    • Thank you for the vote of confidence. Much appreciated :).
We still do have two listings if we have Australian stock and Direct Import.

    • Kogan has the direct import for $499. Also it ships in 1-2 weeks.
We have the direct import for $490 and ships in 3-5 days.

      • +1

maybe add this option up on top as well.. I think $490 with reasonable delivery is the cheapest going round anyway.

        • Not sure if we could in a way run two deals. Wouldn't be able to post it as it would be a separate post or deal for the same item.

    • I agree, I got my current phone a errrumm Galaxy Nexus from them. Comms were good, price was great, after sales service was excellent (I wanted to unlock it from Voda). I'd certainly buy from them again……except you don't have the Asus padfone2 4Gb/32Gb in stock (coming soon?)

    • +4

I think that's also a grey import as well.

    • +1

That is a direct import from Hong Kong with a 12 month seller's warranty. And not a manufacturer's warranty

  • Apart from the extra 1 yr of warranty, is there any difference between the grey import and Australian stock? For an extra $100+?? I would rather pocket the money…personal preference I suppose.

    • +2

      GST?

      • +1

        An original Australian power plug?

        • And yes comes with an original Australian socket samsung charger.

    • +3

Only if nothing goes wrong. If something does go wrong, having the peace of mind to get it fixed by the manufacturer is worth buying genuine Australian stock sometimes.

      • Yeah, that's what I mean by 'personal preference'. I am happy with a 1 yr warranty and an extra $100 in my pocket. Each to their own…

    • Hi
You get a GST invoice for one to claim back if needed.
      Two
depending on who you buy from a lot of sellers selling direct import stock send the phone back to Honk Kong for repairs. So having an extra years of manufacturer's warranty comes in to play then.
Rest it really comes down to personal preference and peace of mind.

    • I've heard from people that Galaxy S5 is actually really annoying to fix because of the waterproof function. Of course, extra $100 is a lot, so it really would depend on whether you'd want to risk things that manufacturer warranty guarantees.

    • mostly after sales support. From experience, most grey importers will try and get out of a claim you make

  • OP, do you by any chance have the S5 G906 which is the korean version of the S5?

    • Is that the one with 8 cores? Apparently it doesn't do 4G though - I think Kogan sells that one as well.

      • It is supposedly faster as it has 3GB of RAM, plus the display quality is a lot better

    • Hi
We do get them but do not use them as usually Korean stock does not have IMEI numbers so causes us some issues. And depending on the stock it does have a lot of network software and our feedback was kind of bad from customers on that.

      • +1

What price can you get the G906 for? I'm genuinely interested as i know a few people that have them without any issues.

        • +1

Will check tomorrow and pm you.

        • @thinkofus: thank you

    • We do have the g900h though.

  • Hi rep, is your grey import dual sim? Does it cover all the Australian bands? Thanks. Also, same question for xperia z4… Thanks

    • Hi
Not sure about the Xperia z4. Without sounding ignorant didn't know it was out.
We do have a dual sim s5 as well which covers all sims. Well we have tested with Optus Telstra and Vodafone.

      • +1

Thanks op . no I was mistaken - I meant xperia z3…? And galaxy s5 dual sim ? What are the prices? Thanks

        • Hi
We do list them on the site. If you like to know the prices now you can check our site. Else we will pm you tomorrow.

  • +1

Will you be selling the S6 outright ?

    • Hi
Yes we do have it on preorder at the moment.

      • +1

        Any idea of pricing?

  • OP, There is no blue one in stock??

    • Hi
Not currently. We are trying to get stock of the same on that same price. Will know more tomorrow.

    • +1

      Hi
We have managed to get some limited Blue in.

  • Im currently living in oz but maybe going back to uk to live and both i and wife need new phones both have samasung s2,is there any point if i wanted this to get a australian stocked one with 2 yr warranty as if im not here another 2 yrs pointless but if i am then yes maybe, what if i got a grey import instead.
Then i have the issue of plug, what does grey import come with as in plug?
As of this time i maybe here another year or see my days out here or maybe as said heading back to uk by july.

    • +1

It is easy to buy general exchange adapter for UK style as cheaper price on ebay.

    • +1

We would suggest getting a grey import. And if you let us know in advance we could try and send you Uk stock and would advise getting an extended year warranty which is covered worldwide.

      • So why grey import,ok cheaper yes,but i am still using a old s2 and looking to upgrade, its one from uk and has had no issues working over here in oz,so yes if i do end up back in uk then what do i gain from having the uk stock one over a oz one?Ok yes the plug but surely a grey import will be same as a uk stock one and say i end up not going back to uk and stay in oz longer will i have issues with a uk one here in oz as said my s2 seems to work fine and has had no issues since i been here a few years back.

  • +1

    ?
    grey import or oz stock

  • -1

Kogan are $499 + delivery (Grey Import)

    • +2

We are $490 plus delivery which is less than the 1-2 weeks of Kogan for direct import that is.

      • We have gone one better and now it is $465

  • +2

    but these guys are less

  • At 100 bucks difference, I will go for oz stock. More than that, I do find that some of the grey imports replace the battery with aftermarket products. Then sell the genuine battery separately. Shame.!

    • +2

      Hi
We are not sure who does that but to be honest have never seen or heard it happen with us or any of the major competitors.

  • Correct me if im wrong but DWI and Kogan sell the "g900f" EU version (grey imported) which does not work on all Aussie 4g bands. If this is local stock it should be the "g900i" version which works on Aussie 4g bands. I.e. it may be worth paying more for this one.

I bought one last year from DWI because I use Woolies 3g only. If I was on Telstra or Optus I'd have bought the g900i version to take full advantage of the 4G network.

  • +1

Hi Rep, are their manufacturer seals intact? Do they display any network logos on start up?

    • Hi
Yes brand new sealed. As for network software will confirm that tomorrow.

    • We have mixed stock of no logo and Telstra/Optus logo.

  • Rep, any deals on xperia z3 6633?

    • Not a deal per se on them.
      We have them for $605.

  • +1

good deal for now, but if you can hold it out a bit longer, wait until the s6 comes out

  • Rep, any idea on the pricing for S6? Thanks.

  • what is the difference from a sm-g900 and sm 900i and also the smg 900 fd,the last one being dual sim is there any point in having dual sim and what does it have over the other two models mentioned?
I currently have a s2 and looking to upgrade well both i and wife have same phone,is it worth waiting for a s6 but then they be double the price.

  • +1

You think you can do better prices or match what others have offered on ebay with current 29% off au stock and grey?

    • Are there any sellers like company sellers selling AU stock cheap? We would be happy to look in to it.

  • I'm about to buy 2 s5 phones so need a deal real quick,20 off ebay prices are shouting out at me

  • 20% off
