Homearts are closing down (not sure if it's forever or just several stores) but I picked up a nutribullet imitation that does the job perfectly for $25. They had plenty left in stock at my local store (Fairfield) last time I checked - a few weeks ago. It's pretty much a convenient and fancy blender.

Totally off topic - A guy called me up at work and asked about the nutribullet wanting to know if it will make him slim down. I told him it depends on what you put into it that counts and boy was he surprised (so was I at his reaction) thinking it was a magical quick fix.

have one of these home brand ones from kmart - $15. Does same thing, less than a tenth the price

      [citation needed]

    • Have you compared them directly?

  • i got the 600W one for about $130 and it is awesome…

  • just saw a knock off on groupon probably similar to kmart ones though.

    RRP $349 not $400

    3-5 week wait

It is a good deal but with the amount of issues these blenders have with blades breaking, leaks, motors blowing ( look up product reviews) your better off paying a little extra & getting a nutri ninja from target/tgg/Harvey Norman ect , for piece of mind when something does go wrong you have somewhere local to return it, & if you pay with certain credit cards you can get an extra year warranty, unless this deal has a local place in oz for warranty returns be aware of the problems most blenders have cheap & expensive, they are awesome to use though

if you buy 2, can you make them into a lawn mower?

  • If you can commit to a daily regime these blenders are awesome.

          @Tasmaniac:

          They have no Seoul though…

    • If you can commit to a daily regime these blenders are awesome.

What sort of silly comment is that?

It's a BLENDER, there is no need to over think things.

      1. Decide to blend something
      2. Place objects in blender
      3. Use blender as necessary
      4. Remove blended products
      5. Clean blender

There is no regime is required at all.

      • There are countless stories of people buying these types of product, using them a couple of times then never using them again. All I'm saying is that if you stick with it they're great. It's a little bit more involved than your excellent step by step guide btw, that is of course unless you own a cow and don't mind blending mango seeds!.

Saw this link posted over at whirlpool. Wouldn't risk a purchase even at this decent price given suredeal's shady reputation for lack of communication ans follow through:

    • Wow! Never seen such bad reviews. This deserves a neg solely based on that to warn others, sorry OP.

      • Not sure why all these people keep trying to contact them to get a refund on their credit card, it's so easy just to call your credit card company and ask for a charge back if the item has not been delivered…

        • Good point. Is there a time limit on reversing a transaction?

Spend the extra dollars and get an omniblend or something similar.

  • +1

yeah stay away, these are terrible

  • Also check out the Optimum blenders from http://www.froothie.com.au

I've had one for a year or so now, great blender, good warranty and great support

On their Informercials they market this as a "nutrient extractor".

Most people have a "nutrient extractor" - it's called your teeth.

    • it's called your teeth.

Can you eat at 60,000 bites per minute ?

  • Bought a George Foreman Mix & Go Pro for under $70 from The Good Guys (had to use an expiring Store Credit)

Benefit for me is that it's also a jug style blender, when the bottle blender fad wears off.

Grab the Nutri Ninja instead. Quality and functionality is far superior.

  • These things are terrible quality.
