  Watches are subjective kind of decorative piece. Many seller show RRP by manufacturer got blasted by Ozbargain.

  They provide good deals, occasionally still slightly more than other non reputable seller, but you can try to ask for better deal from Star Jewels. Many satisfied customers from Ozbargain from what i gathered.

  I think most people here are looking for the edifice watches.

  I have had an eco drive very similar to this model for nearly five years

  Very happy with it and it keeps time beautifully, except for one problem. The winder is screw in and one day when it was less than a year old it decided it wouldn't screw in anymore, and the watch is thus not water proof anymore. Unfortunately I had bought it via Amazon UK and the warranty did not work internationally for the deal I got and there was no equivalent model in Australia. I took it to get repaired and the citizen dealer said it required a whole new body but they couldn't get them in Australia. It seems the main difference between mine and the one linked above is in the winder area, with the rest very similar, so perhaps they've fixed my problem there too (?), although I think it's unlikely.

  I have kept using the watch but couldn't wear it in the water anymore. From time to time I have accidentally got it wet even with salt water and it always recovers if I leave it in a sunny spot (it never stops functioning but it does get condensation inside the glass).

  The other thing I realised is that eventually the water resistant seal has to be tested and/or replaced and that means cracking the case open, in which case you could easily replace the battery, mitigating the value of the eco drive somewhat, though who knows how long before this would happen anyway.

  I would probably also recommend getting silver over black as the scratches on my titanium silver body after nearly five years are barely visible. I don't know if the same would be true of the black anodised version. Mine has been treated quite roughly at times too (scraped against bricks and abrasive wind surfing boards).
