OzBargain AFL Footy Tipping Comp 2015 (Prizes!)

It looks like it has been 4 years since any AFL tipping comp has been organised here. Let's do it one for this year.

Register and/or Join this comp on FootyTips.com.au.

  • Use your OzBargain name as your nickname for this comp (if you can). There doesn't appear to be a setting to change it for 1 comp only.
  • Note that the old tipping comp on FootyTips is no longer active as we don't have access. Don't sign up for the "OzBargain" comp. Sign up for OFFICIAL OzBargain.
  • Prizes will only be given out to OzBargain members.
  • 1 FootyTips member per OzBargain Account.

Prizes:

  • $100 for the top tipper at the end of the season.
  • $75 for 2nd best tipper.
  • $50 for 3rd best tipper.

Season starts on April 2.

    I'm a horrid tipper. I'll enter as the control. I'll run a random number generator every week to determine my tips. If any of you do worse than me, you know you really suck ;)

      Your tips should only need to be put in once for all comps you have joined on FootyTips.

    I might have a go at AFL, but I don't know anything about Rugby
    So I use the Marvel vs DC method of tipping for NRL

    Would a Dragon beat a Bronco? Hells yes!
    Sharks would beat Raiders, but only if the Raiders are dumb enough to go in the water
    Shame the Rabbitohs seem to be good, because I can only see them beating Eels (Maybe)

    Not a happy weekend in my household with both Geelong and Carlton losing. However, I guess the upside is that the Blues have bragging rights of being ahead of the Cats in the ladder (16 v. 17). :(

        Yeah, 3 points are going to be hard to beat in tipping based on what I've seen in previous comps.

    Well, Balls Deep has basically got it wrapped up (unless he forgets), The minor places are very tight! I'm hanging on to 2nd by a very slim margin, but am not in good form! If only I had have tipped the same in Tassie residents' JMC tipping, I would be in second place in that competition too. 2nd in that comp is worth $7,000!! OzBargain is more prestigious.

    Oh well, after some pretty poor rounds to finish off with, Balls Deep smashed everyone. Good job. 5 of us were tied for 2nd, but luckily I've got home on the margin!
