Phone cable has fallen down. Please help!

Hello fellow Ozbargainers, the phone line that runs from the street telegraph pole to my house has come down.
A truck was passing through the street, the back of it clipped the cable and ripped the cable out from the house.
I have no internet and no home phone connection now. Who do I call and what do I do?
I live in Sydney.

Thanks for the info! Called Telstra and they're coming soon, hopefully everything gets sorted out quickly

  • Call telstra, They should be able to have someone out next week to fix it. Might not be a bad idea to report the truck to Telstra and/or the police.

Did it stop at all or did he just drive off?

    • He kept on driving for a while until he noticed us running after him
