Good value phone: LG G2, G3, Moto G2 or any other?

Am looking for a good bang for buck phone to replace my current 5 inch Android.

It's got buggy hardware/software so it still crashes often even after flashing different ROMs.

My first preference is a good camera, and then a stable ROM with good upgradability.

Would prefer sub $300, but if nothing available can stretch to around $450 (i.e. G3 price range)

Just see many good deals now (CTECH20 etc) but can't decide.

Thanks in advance!

  • LG g2 without doubt.

  • Because…?

I've read about its good battery life and display quality, but is the camera good (colour accuracy with auto settings etc) and in what way?

  • LG2 camera isn't good especially in low light. Only good thing is the battery.

LG3, batter is piss poor and gets warm over the tiniest usage. (I have one and I'm thinking of returning it, heat is not good for the phone in the long run I would assume)

MOTO G 2, camera not as good but overall phone it's good with decent battery.

Get the LG G3 from Kogan, with the CTECH20 Code till Thursday.

32GB memory with 3GB RAM (16GB version has 2GB RAM) for $447 shipped.

  • Thanks all. So Moto is out. (The part where it stands out is the software updates I've read)

So it's between G2 and G3. If G3, I am thinking, why not G2 Pro, which is at similar price? It's also 3gb RAM, just a larger screen, which I don't mind.

If G2, isn't there another phone with a better camera at that price point? And if not, should I get the F320 or D802 (G2's variants)? Both 4g bands are good for Aust right?
