With the current 20% off tech discount on Ebay, some prices are quite low. Does anyone know whether officeworks would pricematch that percentage off price?
I'd be happy with just a match (or even close to it) and am not necessarily chasing the extra 5%, simply to be able to have the specific item appear on the CC for extended warranty purposes, as opposed to it simply showing as a payment to paypal.
What items are excluded from the LPG?
Non identical products and services (inclusive of non identical warranties)
Package deals i.e. printer and computer bundles
Cash back and coupon offers
Resellers
Customer special orders
Contract Pricing
Competitor clearance products

I doubt they would price match being eBay but you never know. Why not just purchase it on eBay?

Depends on whether the sales on eBay are classified as online stores or online resellers. So it's worth a shot at least.
I'm interested… did anyone actually attempt to march in to Office-Works and get them to "price match" the recent Woolies extra super awesomely special price of about $4 for a box of 24 cans of Coke?

Ended up not bothering with Officeworks. The local store has none in stock and most other stores in the state come up as low stock, so probably also none. I can pick up from Good Guys today. Galaxy S4 $382 for Australian stock with manufacturers warranty. Not THE best price it has been for Australian stock, but not far off it.
I was also able to price match/ price beat the moto g 2014 at office works. Ended up beating the discounted dicksmith ebay store by 10% (not sure if that was right) so got it for $172.
The guy did originally they don't price match eBay but ended up getting the ok for his manager after I explained it was from the dicksmith eBay store.
They are not meant to but depends on every individual, if one store does it, in no circumstances does that mean other stores have to do the same. generally we don't price match ebay and promotions that have codes, cheers.
I had this problem with my local OW a few weeks ago - got told by one of the staff that they don't match ebay prices because they're "too competitive". I emailed OW stating that based on their T&C, they should price match.
Received a reply stating if the item on ebay is from an ebay store, identical product and warranties, and shipping is taken into account, then they will price match.
Go into their store and do the ebay checkout process on one of their computers, so they can see the discount live.

Not sure I understand your concern. The specific item won't appear in your CC statement anyway, just a payment to OfficeWorks. You'd still have to prove the payment was for the item in question.
But to your original question, I think you'd just have to show the final total and hope? It will depend on the store and most will try to get out of it in some way.
