Looking to Take a 5000 Loan

Hey all,

We recently got into an accident and the car was written off and decided it was time for an upgrade.

Looking to take a 5000 loan and where would be the best place to do so?

Thanks

He only does loans in Baht now… plus other good and servicces in Thailand from my understanding.

    • Depends if you want a free rape with it.

Check with your bank and compare the fees with your credit card. If you can pay it back quickly it might be cheaper to just put it on your credit card.

  • You haven't really provided any details in your post (what do you want to upgrade to, new or used, do you have a home-loan, etc.). If you have a home-loan/mortgage, redrawing on that would probably be the cheapest interest you'll be able to get; unless you want to buy a new car and you're 5K short, in which case I think you can get some really low-interest loans as part of the deal. So maybe you could get a low interest loan, for the car, and keep the money you do have in an interest-paying account, and just pay the car loan off at your leisure maybe?
I should mention I'm not very knowledgeable in the area, so others will be able to give you a better idea, but I suggest providing a few more details.

Not sure about your current income but could you save for tighten the belts for 2 to 3 months? (completely different if the car is essential).
