Looking for a 10.1 or similar size tablet, up to $300 preferred.

So I've been looking on ebay during the 20% off tech deal the last few days and I was looking at the Samsung Galaxy Tab 4 10.1 which after the code would be $236 on TGG. After looking at the specs and reviews it looks rather underwhelming performance wise. It has the same processor as my 2nd gen Moto G but it appears Touchwiz on this tablet slows it down a bit according to reviews I've read. I'm not really after the best of the best but something that's above average I guess and I'm not really sure about what's good value regarding tablets.

Are there any suggestions for a 10.1 tablet at around $300 or lower?

Thanks.

Gaben asking for buying advice on tablet with $300 budget. Half Life 3 confirmed?

That said, a Galaxy Tab 4.0 for less than $250 is very good value. I really don't see anything better (that is available locally) for the price you have quoted.

There are china-tabs that you could look into if you're after a high-spec but low price device — e.g $300 AUD could get you a device with a 2048*1536 resolution display, 2GB of RAM and with Android/Windows dual booting capability. For e.g Teclast X98 Air II
