Was looking at a new razor and found this in Myer today.

This one come with the charge and self cleaning base

    It is not the same. That one does not come with the self cleaning base and model number is 360 instead of the 390cc in Myer.

  I am also looking to buy an electric shaver. The Braun 7 series 790CC for $299/- at shaver shop is tempting.

      To be fair, the 350cc seems to be the international version of the 390, the 390 isn't on the Braun AU site - but I can't see the difference between them otherwise.
      What I LOL'd about is Myer's "You may also like" suggestions: A Hairdryer, a Pair of lacy knickers & an electric toothbrush. All things the average man is pretty likely to like??

        I actually bought it at Myer and it is not the same as the 350CC. :)

        390CC has a couple more LCD for notifications. But $10 for 5 more LEDs. Hmmmmm.

        @goraygo:

        The 390CC was released when the current Series 3 was launched approx 3 years or so ago. It is the 'Top' of the range in the 3 Series. Thus the 3 "90" label. CC = Clean and Charge Unit.

        The 350CC was i would say the "2nd generation" release of the current 3 series. So technically the 350CC is "newer" but in terms of product line it sits somewhere in the middle of the 3 series because of the "3 "50" numbering. To my knowledge it was released as a product that can fill an entry level price point (after discount) with a clean and charge unit.

        You are correct that the only difference between the 390CC and the 350CC is just the LEDs and also the colour the shaver's "faceplate" is. Motor, Foils and Cutters are all the same and i think both are made in china as well.
