Optus Have Increased Prices on Their Plans and on The Samsung GS6/GS6 Edge

I have been waiting for Tuesday (7/04) to pre-order my Samsung Galaxy S6 Edge due to the Easter long weekend. In the space of 3 hours, Optus have jacked up all their prices and have released new plans. Many of these plans were $5-$10 cheaper yesterday, but now they come with unlimited national calls. Looks like I won't be re-contracting with Optus.
I highly suggest you guys look at other providers, because the new Optus plans are rubbish. Optus have disappointed me for the last time.

    What were the old prices? I was also holding out until today, looks like I'll be giving them a call to "negotiate".

      I can only remember a few of the old plans.
      The Samsung Galaxy S6
      - 32GB: $35 My PLan + $25 Monthly Handset Repayments
      - 64GB: $35 My Plan + $30 Monthly Handset Repayments

      Samsung Galaxy S6 Edge
      - 32GB: $35 My Plan + $31 monthly Handset repayments
      - 64GB: $35 My Plan + $36 monthly Handset repayments

      I was planning on choosing the Samsung Galaxy S6 32GB. Remember you get 115GB of Microsoft One Drive Cloud Storage for 2 years from Samsung.

    Not sure about the other plans but the ones providing 6GB data are still the same.

    Eg. s6 edge or s6 64GB with 6GB data for $85 is still the same

    I went with Vodafone 12 months, S6 64gb with 4gb per month for $115, very happy with that

      Wow, that's actually pretty great for a 12 month contract. Wonder whether it's worth trying Voda again, even if it's only for 12 months.

      Yep they do an i6 64GB with 3GB on a 12 month contract for $118 per month which I thought wasn't bad

      I just tried to find that deal on Voda and it says $127/month for a s6 64 gb and $137/month for a s6 edge 64gb. Did you get this price by being a "valued customer" by any chance?

        Hi, nope new customer, I initiated an online chat with a guy called Brody, I told him I was sorry he ended up being hung & we went from there. Few people on whirlpool have had similar deals, just say you see others are getting it for a better price the advertised so can you please help me out.
