Just wondering if someone who has this can advice on whether this is a good bargain.

Also whether this is of a similar quality as flavorstone.
Reviews seem to be mixed suggesting issues arise from overheating.
My wife has been wanting this and it seems like a good price unless this is crap compared to flavorstone.
Will be grateful for some feedback.

I have had a Flavorstone frypan for several months now. Most of the blue colouring is now a dirty brown. Not a good look. It cooks satisfactorily but wasn't worth the money I paid. Get your wife to read the reviews about them on Product Review and she may change her mind. Just buy a known brand heavy bottomed pan.

Hi, I'm not sure if you bought the Stone Chef set or not. I bought the same Stone Chef set a while ago (from a different website), I'm not sure if it's the same model because my ones are red, but it is definitely the same brand. They're absolutely awful! The material is so thin that it overheats very quickly and no matter what you put in the pan and what your cooking skills are, things just get burnt. Don't buy this brand.
Before I bought this set, I was given a Flavourstone pan from my parents and I quite liked it, that's why when I saw these, I quickly jumped on it. It was $50 or $60 for the set from memory. The Flavourstone base does turn a little brown over time, I find that if you use a bit of oil still while cooking, and also don't spray it with cold water straight after use will preserve the surface of the pan longer.
No matter what you do, I hope you don't buy the Stone Chef set.
