have bought from them before.. the shirts fade or stretch after couple of washes

  • Not sure if this is just me, but their denims are pretty stiff… I've wore them a couple of times and they are still so hard to move in. At first I thought they were just new and went ahead an bought them but I think I was wrong.

Connor is a cheap quality brand, not worth the money.

Really not worth the money, you're paying for cheap fabrics. There are way better deals on quality clothes, get something that will last.

      couldnt agree more

    • I usually buy from Connor because I find it cheap. Only started wearing shirts to work very recently so don't have much idea. Any recommendations on places (or brands) I should check out for quality product at decent price ?

The Styleforum guys recommend Charles Tyrwhitt and MJ Bale on sale, when their shirts are 5 for $200 ($40 each). Better quality and still cheaper than Myer/DJ prices. Considering Connor at full price is like $39, it's pretty good.

Charles Tyrwhitt had a sale a few days ago, each shirt was like 40-odd dollars delivered. Really great quality shirts, and like I said on that post, always order super slim.

If you want to know how bad Connor shirts are, go and feel one, then go to feel another quality shirt at say Myer, and it'll feel like a tissue between your fingers.

edit: https://www.ozbargain.com.au/node/189613 that was the post I was talking about. There are a lot of nice shirt brands that don't cost you a fortune, go and check some out.

      • I buy mostly from hallensteins.com. Free shipping on orders over $50 and they tend to have sales a lot.
Haven't bought business shirts but I'm sure they would be good.

Go for Charles or mj.. I found a good seller on eBay called b2b shirts..they use to supply to val parks (shop in Sydney).. The quality is excellent. I have bought a few herringbone shirts for $40 each from b2b
