Samsung Galaxy S6 32GB Australian Stock $899.10 Delivered @ Samsung Online Store

481
NBUY10

Thanks to this deal you can get the S6 32GB for 10% off which makes it $899.10. Local stock, local 2 year warranty, free express shipping, and you'll be protected by Australian Consumer Law (as opposed to a grey import).

As far as I can tell it's the cheapest local stock available now.

Note: The promo code is case-sensitive. Make sure it's all caps when you enter it in.

I figured it would be acceptable to highlight this deal looking at how the Masters ebay deal went!

S6 64GB - $1034.10
S6 128GB - $1169.10
S6 Edge 32GB - $1034.10
S6 Edge 64GB - $1169.10

Note: The code works again but the order will get cancelled, so I'll mark it as expired.

    • Hey, assuming you ordered from Samsung AU, could you tell me whether they gave you a "receipt" or a "tax invoice"? Tax invoice will be stated clearly at the top of the document if so.

      Many thanks,
      Spaghettiman :)

  • LG G4 will be the better phone plus cheaper. Samsung has gone bad since S5

    • S5 was just a shrink of the note 3 plus the 4k capabilities really. Note 4 and note edge are phenomenal. S6 seems to be just a cosmetic change, they added the curved edge but not for the right reasons. It's useless without the task bar feature.

      • agreed, edge looks cool but thats about it, and the regular's screen looks kinda bigger in person, thats why i got the regular. the regular also feels better in hand, and is thinner, the extra 50mah increase in the edge's battery did not give the s6 edge any extra battery life according to a comparison I watched on you tube. they both gave the exact same battery life down to the minute in every category.

Many reviews say this is Samsung's best phone yet.

      • +1

I'd say it's the best phone I've played with, period.

Software was very fast, faster than my Nexus 5, especially the camera boot time. Themes were a nice addition.

Also reviews and blind tests indicate that it's got the best camera on a phone.

Definitely a winner and a defining moment in consumer technology in my opinion.

    • +1

Worst phone they've had since S3 from someone i know who worked for them for a few years in their marketing/sales area.

      • Worst? Based on what? I can't see this being even close to the worst.

    • +1

i dont think it will be better, i mean cpu will probably be 810, over heating issues unless they clock it down, still wont match the state of the art 14nm samsung processor.
ram will obviously be faster on the s6 ddr4, first in the world.
screen is better quality and always has been on the galaxy line, lg will probably use lcd like usual.
fingerprint sensor s6, g4 not even roumered to have one.
camera has always been better on the galaxy line, look at history, the samsung equivelent has always been better,
      s4 vs g2
      s5 vs g3

maybe the lg has an edge in sd card or removable battery department, thats about it.

overpriced piece of metal…*not iphone fan…just sick of Samsung following Apple's footstep in term of pricing their premium phones..

    • I agree with you somewhat lack of sdcard and non removable battery sucks.

Android is about freedom and removing those means no longer

      • Kit Kat screwed over writing to SD card so its a no brainer to remove it and increase the size via on board. Especially since the only way to get it back was to root the phone.

        • Kit Kat screwed over writing to SD card so its a no brainer to remove it

          Lollipop fixed it a bit.

        • @ozhunter: Only a bit? Haven't been following will read it up. Thanks.

  • Thank god I bought a note edge for $660…. amirite guys?

    • Good reminder, but just keep in mind that it might not work:
-If you use a coupon code that is not listed on this site, rewards may not be payable.

  • If this is classified as a deal for OzBargain, then can I post an ad for a PS4 for $550?

    • you do whatever makes you happy

    • Will be interesting to see whether the s6 can hold its price. S5 crashed to $650 after a few months and the note 4 has been as low as $660 through the eBay deals…

      • that is after 5 months after it launched though and only thanks to ebay %20 otherwise still around the $780 mark

        • Yeah popularity of the s6 should keep the price up there. Smartphone market is super competitive though.

      • +2

DOn't think a third party promotion constitutes a price crash. If the normal selling price dropped to that price then yes. But if someone was to give money away that is fine by me, call it whatever you want :)

    • Agree, can't really classify this as any kind of deal myself. Subsidised on a half decent plan compared to paying lose to $1K upfront still the way to go.

      • Lots of people still like buying phones outright (just have a look at the WP where to buy thread).

It does suit some people, e.g. those who have wifi at work and home, so only need a smaller amount of data.

Instead of going on a 24-month plan (e.g. Virgin $60/month comes with 1.5GB data = $1440), they could get the phone outright for $899 and pay $18-23/month with a company like Vaya for the same amount of data. The final cost in the end will be less, and they won't be bound by a 24-month contract.

    • It's a deal for those that must have the latest and greatest now.

  • Sits and waits for my one plus two. :)

    • by the time the one plus two comes out and one would be able to purchase it, we will have the note 5 by than, so keep waiting bro

      • Don't worry, I will.
My one+1 will be perfectly fine while I do.

In all honesty, I'd probably still be using samsungs like I was with the S2 and S3 but their software really got to me.

    • How expensive will the one plus two be? The 1st phone was only cheap because they were selling at break even prices to develop the brand. The 2nd phone will be more expensive because they'll add a profit on top. I got bored waiting around for the one plus one to be released in the first place, and by the time they did you could find similar spec named brand phones that could be picked up for slightly more on sale. Also they didn't have an sd card, albeit the one plus one did offer a 64gb model.

      • I picked up the Chinese 64gb version for under $500 almost 12 months ago.
I'm expecting the +two to be a bit more expensive but I've never been so impressed with a phone so much since I got a htc desire many years ago and was my first android phone, so once I see the specs and price I'll make judgement then.
No real hurry to upgrade just yet, no reason to.

        • I was fairly happy with mine, but the glitches I kept experiencing was annoying. The touchscreen would get unresponsive if it's hot or humid, and the camera was a bit slow. The LCD was OK, but nowhere as nice as a good super amoled display.

The biggest plus point was the amazingly low price. If it cost as much as the big-brand flagship phones, then the only thing that stands out is the ROM … which isn't Cyanogen anymore.

        • @eug:

Yeah not to sure about oxygen yet, will have to try it out and see.

The modding community will ensure that cyogen continues on it though, so at least there's that.

Plus there's the thing of having something differnt, I've post count the amount of times I've had to explain to someone what and who one+ are.

And within 3 months time you struggling to sell
It for 500….. Still dont understand by ppl buy android more than 300 dollars… Think about the reselling price… #justmy2cents

    • +4

What reselling price? I am still using my S3, I bought it when it first came out.. Lolx..

    • i never understood reselling price, i never sold any of my phones, i keep using them till they die or break, or get really really slow where its unusable, my s4 got water damaged, i had to get a new phone so i got the s6. people need to keep their phone for at least 2 years, after that no one wants to buy a 2 year old phone and if they did it wont sell for much so you might as well keep it.
      apple phone's different story..

      • ahh… it just you maybe keeping the phone for 2 years… make sure dont break the screen otherwise the screen price would be similar with the second hand phone.. :D

        • and make sure you don't bend the phone :)

        • @hippies: I know, I don't believe how a company can release a phone that bends so easily like that. ;)
No MicroSD card support, no replacable batteries, I simply don't believe what I am seeing. I get it, it allows better design, but please. Don't they want to give the users better experience? It's like they think they can milk off their fans like crazy. Right? ;)

Like they think they can milk off more consumers by releasing more models with bigger screen, not making the user experience better. They are not even doing the basic, like increasing the RAM amount, for user experience. It's 64 bits architecture, at least the RAM should be like 4GB. ;)

        • @AznMitch: are you kidding me? what do you plan on doing with the s6 using it as a hammer? who can bend their phone like that? that bend test is so pointless, only reason people started doing bend test is because of the 6 plus and how it got bent in some guys pocket, now everyone doing bend tests like its a drop test. how the hell would you put that much pressure on a phone to make it bend like that, its understandable that the 6 plus bent because its bigger therefore easier to bend, but not the s6. of course if you intentionally wana bend it it will bend its not made out of a rock, but why would you wana intentionally do that? its just stupid

        • why do you keep your phone for 3 months? lol

        • @AznMitch: they did increase the ram from s5 2gb to s6 3gb do you even read the specs or you just start guessing?

        • @striker5950: if you look at who I've replied to, I think you'd get what I was going for. That being said, I did go overboard, but what I've said is generally true if you look at note 4 and galaxy s5 LTE, the Korean 3GB one. Yes, I know that they are using LPDDR4 and they were weighing between LPddr3 4GB and LPDDR4 3GB. Except the bending part, that was just for iPhone 6. As far as I know, the issue hasn't popped up other than from an phone insurance company's video, which makes me slightly doubt the validity of the test.

Though the comments I've made applies far far more to iPhone than the current galaxy.

Frankly, I think Galaxy S6 has the technological upper hands atm, Qualcomm messed up huge time, so much that HTC is putting MTK chip in their flagship, m9+, LG is putting 808 instead of 810 in their flagship. I personally think Samsung has the upperhand, this gen at least, in Android market. Though I'd wait for the rumoured S6 active since it is rumoured that it has both detachable battery and microSD support, though it's just a rumour.

    • +1

      Depends on the phone,

      On ebay

Used S5 is $400(1 year old)
Used iphone 5S is $465(1.5 years old)
Used Note 3 is $508 (1.5 years old)

      • and guess who want to buy the s5 for 400 ?

        • +1

Some guy who wants an S5 I guess…

Those prices are the lowest Buy It Now prices.

Says expired but code still active to 1st Jun

    • +1

Did you enter it in all caps? It's case-sensitive. I just tried it and it still works.

      • This page said "expired" but code still works - just tried it

        • Oh yes one of the mods marked it as expired. He probably didn't enter it in all caps.

        • yea.. so professional….

  • Can you price match this with Officeworks?

    • Kurticus did. Dunno if they'll keep doing it though.

  • +2

Price will drop in a few months just like usual.

For the money, you might as well get the iPhone when it costs close to 1k

I'm happy with LG G3 right now and if I was to upgrade is not gonna be Samsung. Either the next Nexus or G4, best price point is around 500-600, don't mind the wait

1k for a phone is too much. It's not worth it for an Android flagship

Android is about openness, flexibility with sdcard and battery removable AND lower cost.

I used to like Samsung because nothing else to compete with when S3 was out. But then Nexus 5, G3, M8 came they are all better than Samsung.

Even Xiaomi and Huawei are getting better and competing with the big boys with their Redmi and Mate 7 dual sim

64 GB should be the minimum for 2015 phone if sdcard is not supported. So many people regret their 16 purchase on iPhone 6, and just watch with 32gb S6.

  • waiting for s6 edge green special.

  • Looks like Samsung disabled the code today. It worked for my friend last night, but doesn't work anymore. Maybe local retailers weren't happy that Samsung was undercutting their prices.

    • HMm it's working now. Dunno what happened.
