Why can't I post anything on Gumtree?? Help!

Hi all,

I have been attempting to post an ad on gumtree advertising tutoring services that I offer. However, every time I post an ad, it never appears on my account and is almost immediately deleted.

I have posted from my mobile, ipad, computer and even tried posting from the computers at work, a friends place and the local library! I have used different email adressed, different mobile numbers, I have tried everything with no luck!

Not too sure what I can do to be able to post my ad

Gumtree support stated that I can't have duplicate ads even though I haven't posted any ad similar to this

    it says it takes a few hours.
    I've successfully posted an ad recently so I don't think there's a problem with the servers or anything.

      i posted an ad the other day and after hours it still wasn't visible. and no i never posted that item before on gumtree.

        Hmm.. Quite odd.
        Maybe there's a problem with your account? You might have to try make a new account and see if it works.

      True but mine never appears on gumtree. Usually an email is sent to "manage your ad" but I never receive that

      Yes, the ad posts successfully but perhaps it is being flagged or ghosted. This happens due to several reasons like location, IP address, duplicate matter, posting rapidly from the same location… etc. You should wait for few hours to get it active.

    I had this problem since 2016. I gotta keep on making new accounts until it actually appears on my ads :'(
