Returning Expired Telstra Starter Kits?

Hey all!

I have three telstra sim starter kits that i overlooked and expired i purchased 3-4 months ago ( expiry april 15 2015) - purchased from Harvey Norman but no longer have the tax invoice…

Is their any way i can exchange for starter kits that are not expired at either telstra shop etc? i have 3 ipads that need these and being stored not in the usual place i don't want to loose out on $90.

Any info would be appreciated thanks!

  • When I go to Harvey Norman, they put all my purchases under my name on their computer. If I loose my receipt, they can find it on their registers.

Maybe your information is stored on the register so you won't need your receipt.

    Wouldn't it really be $35-40?

I doubt you could exchange it, the same way you can't exchange gift cards.

  • Another reason I've got the Voda Kits. Money doesn't expire, nor do these.
Couldn't go far with 2gig in any event.

  • +1

I was able to activate over the phone a starter kit that had expired a few months ago. I asked the telstra rep on the phone what I could do with the expired kit and she was said some can be activated in a grace period.
    No harm in asking.
