  Here's the T&C (a huge downer for me) — apparently must be paid with using a MasterCard debit card only.

  This "Tiger Raw" fare is the lowest available fare from Tiger Airways Australia and is fully inclusive of all taxes and charges. The "Tiger Raw" fare does not incur payment of the $6 convenience fee associated with credit card purchases per passenger, per flight sector. Payment by Visa or Mastercard credit card or international debit card is permissable subject to payment of this fee. The following conditions apply:

  Wow…

  Tickets came up to $48 (included extra baggage), when paying with Mastercard.

  Jumped up to $72 when tried to pay with Visa.

  Still cheap, but a pretty substantial jump…

    Just today, Tue, Wed and Thur.

    Was an ad about this in Today's Daily Telegrapgh, saying to lookj out for Sydney $2 fares, so sydney/NSW must be next, mabye then SA. Hopefully QLD!
