Just ordered one Hot Chilli Beef! Turns out my local Domino's is opened till 1 am tonight, dinner sorted! :D

  • Yup.. Nice this one works at night..

  • Made it in time before they close. My already had chilli flakes but was offered oregano for free instead.

    • +1

oregano is always free.. so is basil (avoid unless you like basil cos they just pile it on).. most if the sauces etc

    • +2

      peperoni pizza!

I'm lucky cause my local dominos place a lot of toppings, I usually get around 10 peperoni's per slice, weird!

    • +1

my local dominoes at wyoming are always generous with the toppings, plus when you can add more toppings for $2 each its no contest, but to each there own

    • +2

They're not good, but at that price it's cheaper than a frozen pizza from Safeway. And I think they're better than McCain or Papa Giuseppe.

    • it's been my experience with several perth domino's stores that they aren't stingy with toppings. and i only ever buy from them when using a coupon. last night's pizza was so stacked with toppings i could have made another pizza from them

    • +4

For that $18.50 you could buy 4 dominos pizzas and scrape off all the different toppings onto one pizza… and still have enough left over for some garlic bread :P

So I live in a rural area and my local Domino's Pizza went out of business for about 6 months, new owners reopened and thought I'd try with a coupon deal. It was a 3 pizza deal with free coke. Can't remember the price but definitely a good deal.

I rock up and as soon as I say the order name the guy in the back cooking pizza yells out: "Hey no discount!" Me: "Umm, sorry?" Him: "Just kidding mate hehehe" Me: "Oh ok…" Guy at cashier reads out my order and asks what drink I want when the guy in the back pipes up: "Hey no free drink! No free drink for him!" Me: "What?" Him: "Just kidding mate hehehe. That is very good deal, where you get that deal anyway? Good price" Me: "Found it online somewhere mate" Him: "Oh ok, nice, very nice price"

So any way, I get home to find the worst pizzas from Dominos I've ever had. The toppings were so bare I couldn't believe it. I even took a photo with the intention of posting on Domino's FB or something but cbf. I tried again a few weeks later and same deal. I've stuck with the local Pizza Hut instead who even without a coupon present better value with the amount of toppings and no BS about using coupons :/

You should of said you got your code from your mate or relative etc that works high up in Dominos head office. That might of changed their attitude quickly :)
Even though they are a franchise they still have certain standards etc they have to meet and can be held to task by dominoes corporate.

      • can't they opt out of promotions.. sounds like the chef was experiencing a little butt hurt

    • +3

Please take the time to post it on the FB page, they take that shit seriously. Franchisees that do a dodgy get called out on it, as it's a poor representation to the name of the company.

You may have moved to Pizza Hut, but your feedback will help others in the future who have to deal with these douche bags.

  • l think is just that store owner. mine is taste good

    • +3

Hmm, OK, but how does the pizza taste?

  • +1

Domino's Value Range may not be the best pizza on the planet but at $3.95 it has to be the best value for money for anyone on a shoestring budget. Try buying 5000 kjs in palatable ready to eat food for that much money at the supermarket even… :-) … !! Healthy, mmmmm, that's a distant discussion for the poor and hungry…….

    40 cent holiday surcharge today.

    • +7

      RETREAT! RETREAT!

    • is that 40c per pizza or per order?

      • Not sure, but when I picked up I only paid $3.95

      • +2

Per pizza. It's 10% actually, but I guess they round it up. It's calculated per pizza too so it you buy 6, that's a $2.40 surcharge, not $2.37

    • I bought both a $3.95 value and the 3 for $15, still only charged $18.95.
      Results may vary?

  • Thnx

  • Can go wrong when the pizza topping is 90% grease

  • "The voucher 320829 can not be used at this time of the day." and "Public holiday surcharge $1.00". Noooo…!!! My first attempt to eat pizza again since last year!

    • Its also not working for me either

    • Not working

    • I think the code is store-targeted not nation-wide. It didn't work at Casuarina, NT store so I used "119245" for $5 pick-up instead. Still $0.5 surcharge on holiday but the thing tasted so damn good (probably because I haven't eaten any pizza for a year!).

  • Does not work at Plympton SA.

  • Doesn't work at 2 of the Dominos near me.

  • 'The voucher 320829 is not accepted by your selected store.' - Vermont South, Victoria

  • i tried to use the voucher for 1pm sunday ( tommorrow) but it said

"The voucher 320829 can not be used at this time of the day."

    does anyone know why?

  • The cheapest I can get is $5.
