Assassin's Creed 3: Join or Die Collectors Edition (Wii U) for $62.88 @ Selling Out Soon

OZB-SOS-LIKES-ZIRKA

Hi,

After seeing the previous deal from these guys, I went on their website to check what other Wii U deals they had going on. I ask their store rep if he could do any deal on the Assassin's Creed 3, and after a long (really long) talk and wait, he gave me a code to get the game delivered for $62.88

Its the Collectors Edition, with all the goodies. If you find any local stock for cheaper than this, please post a comment below. Otherwise feel free to use my code.

According to the store rep, stock is limited to 20 copies and expires tomorrow around 1:30pm Sydney time.

Also, I am NOT affiliated with this store, the store rep asked me for a name to put in the code and I gave him my OzB nickname.

I know this is the special edition, but you can get the standard edition for $10-$20 from most retailers these days. Probably not worth the extra cost unless you really want those extras.

    • Came here to say just this. And even if you're a fan of this franchise (As I am (Used to be, it's been downhill for a few years)) it's hard to recommend this one for anything more than the $20 mark.

  • And argueably the worst in the series. But is is wiiU and beggers can't be chosers when it comes to 3rd party games on Nintendo anymore. :(

    • Until later this year, when we get Xenoblade X, Devil's Third, Project Treasure!…. Who can say the quality of the latter two of those at this point, but still. Better to be an exclusive bad game than a multiplatform bad game any day!

  • Fair comments about the game, personally I wouldn't know about the gameplay for this one, but in our experience most buyers of this title don't even open it. They collect it and keep it pristine for the future. They're only buying it because it is a sealed Collector's Edition. You never know which Collector's Edition will become a big deal later on. Historically it's often not the ones with the most players but the rarer Australian Homologation (pressing) seems to be in demand :)

I doubt this collectors edition will become more valuable. Usually its games with a more limited run or Nintendo titles

      • Good point. How limited was this run?!?

        • I'll answer my own question here since it was a little on the 'loaded' side… (!) While the title itself was a major, and not rare in any way, the Collector's Edition was a very limited run (wouldn't say extremely, but close) and frankly that is the only reason we have gone to so much trouble to obtain this. Which is why you can't get it anywhere. There will always be naysayers to everything and we're cool with that. Everyone is entitled to their own opinion. But not all opinions are equal. The proof of the pudding is in the eating, and we have amassed data on this type of stuff for over 20 years now. So while naysayers naysay, buyers buy…and having said that we're nearly sold out of the deal. Thank you to all who have participated, and there are a few left of this deal, for anyone who understands what I'm saying :) Thanks to everyone for taking the time to read this. Maybe we should do a blog post on what to collect?

  • Decent price, but you can do better as I bought it for under $50 from your eBay store ;-)

    • That would have been when the price was on a downward part of the cycle which is different to now. This deal is under half the cheapest price of anywhere now. But thank you for your purchase :) why not subscribe to our deals on our Ozbargain page to find out about what we're doing next?!

  • You can get it at erina fair dick smith for $35-$40

    • In stock now? Being after hours we can't check, but their website has no reference to either the game or the Collector's Edition. It would be most likely for Dick Smith to have the game than the Collector's Edition, as they didn't have it earlier and it has since been out of production, meaning they wouldn't be able to order it at head office level. If someone knows more about Dick Smith stock attribution than us, please comment below…thanks :)

  • No it's the collectors edition it has been there for months no one wants it

    • OK thanks. or maybe not that many people in that location have a Wii U…Maybe we'll buy it, then we'll have them all :)
