looks like i've got my suit sorted and ready for my next court appearance :) lol

Just remember to buy it 2 sizes too big and do up all the buttons so everyone knows where you're going. Bonus points if you wear a novelty tie with it as if you're heading to a Grade 12 Formal.

      • Are you the fashion police?

        • Guilty as charged. My crimes are almost as heinous as ill-fitting poly-viscose suits with Daffy Duck ties.

(Just to be clear, I don't have a problem with cheap suits. I think they're great and make people look very sharp when worn properly. Getting a jacket that fits is critical. A $80 suit that fits will look far superior to a $2000 wool masterpiece that doesn't fit, every time. With the money you save on the suit, spend a couple of bucks getting it tailored to fit you spot on. Minor adjustments will make the suit look a million bucks. The quality from Connor isn't too bad either so you'll get plenty of wear.)

  • what if the ordered size does not fit can we exchange or refund.

also what if we do not want to follow the rule of the pants will be x size smaller than the jacket

Last time I bought it from them and the refund process was easy. So I think return wont be an issue.

    • just go to your local western sydney store to exchange refund etc

  • Pity they are only slim suits

    • Well, I tried all type of suites and best fits me if its a Slim one. Yeah Different taste and lifestyle for different peoples.

      • +1

Its not taste or lifestyle, its build.

  • and we can get different jacket and pant size?

  • I am afraid not but better to check with them.

  • Is this an online only offer ?

    • Yes It is online only offer

      • Thanks OP.

Then maybe I can go into their store and try the size out.

  • Just what I was looking for, got 1. Thanks OP. Sizes are limited though.

  • I have been in to Conner and was not impressed with the quality of their suits at all. For the price I had moderate to low expectations but when there are threads hanging out of it in the shop you can only imagine what it will look like after a couple of dry cleans.

By comparison the suits from Men's Avenue that are occasionally on here are batting way above their asking price. You could check their ebay store but who can wait 6 months these days?

  • I got few shirts from Connor and they really fits very well. Havent tried any suit yet, getting a tailored one soon.

  • If you really want to save money you're better off spending more on a quality suit that will last far longer than this sweatshop-produced garbage.

    • Fun fact, if you were to buy the aforementioned "sweatshop produced garbage", it may actually last longer. I bought a $500 Studio Italia Super 120's wool suit and it wore out inside 6 months. A real bummer considering it was my wedding suit.

I attribute this to be due to cotton rubbing on my inside leg, as opposed to polyester. I would think that the polyester would rub "smoother" and not wear through as fast.

My other cheap suit outlasted the SI one.

      • That happens to me to. Curse of the large thighs. Yeah that's true regarding the type of fibre. Way around it is get a tailor/alterer to place a larger silk saddle inside your pants that stops the friction between the inside pant legs.

Should cost you no more than $30 do get the alteration done.
