The Google Play store has Australian dollar pricing but it still adds up to the US dollar equivalent. E.g Something will go on sale for $1 in America but it'll be priced $1.20 AU ~ here.
So why didn't you post the deal for the au price which is AU$0.99. US$0.99 is around AU$1.25 so more expensive?
And considering this is an Australian website the us play store is irrelevant because we purchase from the local one.
Are you dense? That price tag is USD - there is no Australian pricing for this title.
@kaneissik: I'm trying to say there is no need for the 'US' because it is $0.99 in Australian Dollars. And if you do somehow manage to purchase it from a US store it will cost you more.

@Kados: Thanks Jv. The Play Store had both pricing - if it was the Australian dollar there would be an indication of it. E.g "$1.24 A". Have a cry, it doesn't change anything. The price is still adjusted for inflation.
@kaneissik: When your on the au store it doesn't display an A. If you look through your google wallet order history it displays an AU next to the purchase amount which is the same figure displayed on the google play page.
Are you trying to indicate that because it doesn't have the 'A' it must be US$. By that logic everything I buy from Coles (Another Australian store) is in US dollars.
@Kados: No I'm not trying to indicate that. I haven't used the Play Store for a few months and the last time I purchased something I distinctly remember seeing the AU indication next to the price.

For the record, the level called "Oubliette" in the Forgotten Shores add-on pack to this game is probably one of the most beautiful, mesmerising, awe-inspiring pieces of interactive entertainment I have ever experienced. Worth the cost of both alone.
It's a simple, short but very beautiful game. It's a must at this price.

Just wish the developer would get their shit together and make some more levels. They have a massive international audience willing to pay, but they just don't seem very keen to make more. Silly.
I vaguely remember reading an article on how as a game developer it's almost not worth it (e.g. for a business enterprise to be viable you'd need to make many multiples back on your investment than the amount they were making):

Probably not. Play Store handles save files via the Google cloud.

Great piece of art, barely a 'game' per se. It was nice to play through and appreciate and 99c is worth a try for anyone.
There's a second set of levels (costs an additional $1.99 as an IAP). Hopefully they come on sale in the near future too.
