  • I bought one of these (posted the first deal @$199). It's ok, not as impressive as I thought it would be. David Jones lady said it would halve my ironing time which it definitely hasn’t, some of my business shirts still need a water spray. Initially I was planning to return to Philips but decided @$199 it was just barely worth it over a standard iron.

Take it back for a refund…

      False representation…

        Puffery

      • You must have missed the part where I said considered returning but then decided not to.

    • Sounds like a lot of HOT air!

  • Bought one from the last deal and it's great. Won't halve your ironing time but definitely easier, quicker and better result than a regular iron. 2 downsides for me are that these are bulky to store and the ironing board frame is generally wet with condensation and can't go back in the cupboard right away. Can't see myself going back to a regular iron again.

    • Yea it definitely makes ironing easier. Although I find as I iron more and more shirts (I do them all in the one session) they get droplets of water on the shirts and toward the end of the session it just gets all wet. I think the condensation on the ironing board seeps into the shirt
