Deals for a New Computer Build

Hey guys looking for good deals on parts for GTX 970, 8GB RAM DDR4, i7 CPU, and the motherboard. Looking to rebuild current computer, can reuse power supply, cpu cooling and hdd. Much appreciated

    on it.

    I don't think there's any deals currently for the 970, they all seem to hover around $499. May help to check out PCPartPicker and r/BuildAPC for build/price comparisons.

    Why do you need/want DDR4? From what I know, there is very little real-world difference between DDR4 and DDR3

      Very minimal differences indeed.

      I don't think it is the right time to get DDR4 yet— the demand is low, the production and yield rates are low and there's a fairly huge price premium to pay. There's also the issue of latency — at the same clock speed, DDR3 is faster than DDR4 thanks to its intrinsically lower latency.

        Dont mind getting DDR3 if theres minimal differences.
