I want to port from Live Connected's $23 plan to Vaya's $18 plan, which, with kb billing, now seems to be better in every way (service aside).
Anyone know when I should request the port to minimise cost? Considering billing cycle, pro-rata refund if any, etc. Not sure if Live Connected charge a port-out fee either. Have asked them but awaiting a reply.

Live connected and Vaya are the same company basically. I transferred from live to vaya in Dec when they had the free sim offer (ie don't pay the $20 for sim delivery). No port out cost from live. To maximise, you probably want to request the port in the last week of your billing cycle. No pro-rata refund is given if done earlier. Hope that helps.
