Telstra Credit Me2u Method Gone???

I have checked my Telstra Prepaid mobile phone #100# the account service options has changed significantly just like today. One main issue is I cannot see the option 7 CreditMe2U anymore??? The one you use $0.25 to transfer a minimium a dollar to maintain expiry date.

Anyone experience this…….? I am in strive right now as I used to do this every fortnight to continue my phone credit expiry. Credit is expiring in few days…

Do you know how we can find this method still?

Please help!!!

What plan you are on?? I am with Simplicity and another one with Long Life to transfer credit both no able to see???

  • Longlife plan, the cm2u option was hidden under another number, i think it was 4?

My phone is switched off,but please check each option, maybe even try #125#

It is there on my longlife, i sent $10 to my simplicity to extend expiry.

    #125# may work for you

  • Thanks mate! it is not your options indicated but I FOUND IT!!!!!

    It is now under

    1. Recharge -> 6. CreditMe2U -> the rest ———> same

    Thanks for the heads up.

For people live under this Telstra system on cheap mobile plan. hope this thread help

    So relief …!

  • They fiddled with the layout but the options are still there for grandfathered plan, the layout will be different depending on the exact grandfathered plan you are on.

  • +1

Credit Me2U can save you heaps if you're subscribed to multiple pre-paid accounts/sims.

I have a dual-sim phone and a tablet computer(Samsung) all of which share the exact same $5 recharge voucher each fortnight.
I cascade a little amount to each sim: top up/CreditMe2U just $1 value on the tablet - as its mostly always on homeWifi, but its great to have a smidgeon of portability when away from the home network for those times you briefly want to show someone a webpage online when visiting etc.

I get three active devices in fully operation mode for just $5 per fortnight (incoming calls mostly, of course, then i use home phone to call back) - plus the rollover also acrues if i dont actually use my Tablet etc etc.

    • Wow you pay to much i use a telstra sim for all incoming calls and a $30 telstra starter sim monthly for data and outgoing calls (presently using sim cards from woolworths $1 deal) i then transfer $1 at a time by CreditMe2U giving me $24 credit and 48wks expiry on my main sim.

      • I'm doing the same. I have one main using Simplicity then open a new starter $30 bought at officeworks, woolies, havery horman etc.. when on $10 or $8. then open up a Long Life and continue transfer credit over.

do you set up a reminder yourself to ensure to CreditMe2U on the last day of expiry?

That's what I'm doing and found it annoying…

Really still open for ideas for other strategies!!!

Whats Woolies sim card $1 deal???

        • Groovy !! Not exactly 100% sure of the exact steps you described above … especially regarding when and why you are switching between Simplicity and Longlife plans … or how that act accrues so much additional Expiry time … but will try to emulate.

        • Whats Woolies sim card $1 deal???

https://www.ozbargain.com.au/node/174141 deal from late last year

do you set up a reminder yourself to ensure to CreditMe2U on the last day of expiry?

No i transfer credit within the first couple of days of activation so i don't forget.
After i activate my next telstra sim card and transfer credits my main sim will have an expiry date in 2018 so i will save my telstra sims and use up my free optus ones from the ING deal.

        • @coin saver: How long did you held with your current main Telstra plan?? Is yours an old old phone sign up ages ago.? Thats weird…

My both Simplicity and Long Life can not extend two weeks by CreditMe2U method from your expiry date. It only allows two weeks from the day your transfer credit. e.g. CreditMe2U on 05/05/2015 will extend to 19/05/2015… thats is even you get an expiry date on 12/05/2015 or any prior date 19/05/2015

I have to make sure transfer credit on the last expiry day

        • @leehungfei: Yes it is a very old card with an expensive call rate.

  • Really wish to find a better way
